In addition, the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection is firmly set on the manufacturer's head like a "tightening curse", prompting breathing valves, steam traps, high pressure valves, pressure reducing valves, quick opening and closing valves, flame arresters, filters, and pipe sight glasses. And other products have to make changes in processing or manufacturing technology that meet the needs of use. Valve applications are far more than these, such as a large number of low-pressure pump valves widely used in urban construction systems, flat gate valves and ball valves widely used in oil and gas pipeline construction, and so on. Therefore, the demand for valves will be very large.
Most of the operating conditions of the valve are more wear, concentrated corrosion sources, and need to withstand higher pressure and temperature. Therefore, how to improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature strength of the valve under high temperature and high pressure conditions is a major technical problem. With the emergence of emerging technologies, surface strengthening technology methods have been enriched, and each has its own merits, such as plasma surfacing, plasma spraying, supersonic thermal spraying, laser cladding, laser quenching, etc. Here is a simple analysis of a case of successfully repairing a high-pressure valve in service in a thermal power station with laser intensification technology.
